Do note the strict traditional dress code — men are expected to wear a dhoti/mundu (without a shirt), and women should wear saree or other modest traditional attire — and no modern clothing like jeans or shorts is permitted inside the sanctuary. You can purchase dhoti or any kind of traditional dress from the street in front of this temple. Photography and electronic devices are not allowed inside, which helps maintain the sanctity of the temple. Must Visit Kuthira malika palace nearby this temple. The history and heritage of Trivandrum is well shown inside this palace.

A must-visit landmark for anyone seeking both devotion and cultural richness in Kerala.
one of the most peaceful and divine places to visit in Trivandrum. The moment I entered the temple streets, that old-charm architecture and calm atmosphere gave a very special feel. Inside the temple, the vibe is completely different-quiet, spiritual, and very disciplined. The main deity's darshan through the three doors is really unique, and seeing the detailed carvings and traditional Kerala-style structure felt very special. Dress code strict-ah irukum, but once you go inside, it feels worth it because the whole place is so serene. Overall in my view, it's a must-visit spot if you like spiritual and historic places-very peaceful, well-maintained, and gives a divine feeling throughout.

Strict checking will be done by police twice and cant carry mobile inside Darshan was well organized and the staff managed the crowd properly. Even though there was a queue, the process was smooth and disciplined. The atmosphere inside the temple feels very calm and spiritual. There is a strict dress code, so it’s better to follow it before visiting. Overall, it is a must-visit place for devotees and anyone looking for spiritual peace. I felt truly blessed after the visit.

I recently visited Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, and the experience was truly extraordinary and spiritually fulfilling. The temple is one of the oldest and most significant temples in India, known for its vast historical importance, rich traditions, and remarkable architectural heritage. The intricate carvings, massive structures, and traditional Kerala-style architecture reflect centuries of devotion and craftsmanship. The most awe-inspiring aspect of the temple is the grand Anantha Shayana form of Lord Vishnu, which is exceptionally large. Devotees can have darshan of the deity through three separate doors, each revealing a different part of the idol, and together they offer a complete divine view. This unique form of darshan is deeply moving and creates a powerful spiritual experience. The temple is well maintained, and the rituals are performed with great discipline in a serene and sacred atmosphere. Visitors should note that there is a strict dress code—men are required to wear only a dhoti. It is also important to check the temple timings in advance, as the temple remains closed in the afternoon from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
