Shubha Ratna Gems & Jewellery

I am very disappointed with the behavior of the owner at this store. My parents visited yesterday to purchase a Pokhraj stone, and the experience was extremely unpleasant. While showing the gemstones, the owner repeatedly and rudely asked them to keep their bags at the backside, in a tone that felt disrespectful and unnecessary. What made this more disappointing is that we are regular customers and have purchased around 7–8 gemstones from this shop in the past. We expected basic courtesy and respectful behavior. Additionally, the previous night, around 10:40 PM, my mother called the owner’s number only to confirm whether the shop would be open the next day, since we travel all the way from College Street to Ranaghat, which takes around 2.5 hours. He initially did not pick up, then called back around 11:05 PM and rudely asked, ‘Is this the correct time to call?’ Even though the call was made before 11 PM and only to confirm the shop timing before such a long journey. Customer service and respectful behavior matter, especially for loyal customers. Sadly, this experience was very disappointing. I would not recommend this store to others based on our recent experience as respectful customer behaviour is equally important as product quality
