Rohtak Zoo

Recently visited Rohtak Zoo and honestly it was a great experience.😇 The zoo is clean, peaceful, and well maintained. Seeing animals like tigers, lions, deer, birds, and other wildlife so closely was exciting, especially for kids and nature lovers. The greenery and calm environment around Tilyar Lake make the visit even more enjoyable. Staff behavior was decent and the overall atmosphere felt family-friendly. A perfect place for a short outing with friends or family in Haryana. Definitely worth visiting once!

This is a nice zoo in a small city. You can see 50+ animals here. It’s a great place for a kids’ picnic, and Tilyar Lake is also nearby. There are places to eat close by as well. The locals have made the area a bit dirty, but the zoo staff works very hard to keep it clean. It gets crowded on weekends, and the zoo is closed on Mondays. There are also many monkeys here, so be careful—they may try to snatch your belongings."

It's a small zoo, but there were some active animals, so I enjoyed it quite a lot. It was a shame that we could hardly see the big animals during the day.

Visited Rohtak Zoo on a weekend and spent around 1.5 hours there. The zoo is relatively small but fairly well maintained, and the animals appeared to be healthy and in decent condition. Parking for four-wheelers was easy to find, and the charge was ₹50. The entry ticket was ₹30 per person, which seemed reasonable for the facilities and time spent. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and a decent option for a short family outing, and kids are likely to enjoy the experience.

Near Tariyal Haryana Tourism and on Delhi Rohtak road. Cafe facilities available outside zoo with parking. Zoo entry fess is Rs30 per person. Need maintenance and upgradation. Monkeys were roaming openly.

Had A Wonderful Experience At This Small But Well Maintained Zoo. It's A Good Learning Experience For All, Seeing The Wild Animals-Birds With Your Naked Eyes. It Was Well Designed, Well Described, With Proper Knowledge About The Animals-Birds Outside Each Enclosure.
