Maharani Janki Kunwar College, BETTIAH

Very good college in bettiah city, IGNOU centre is also situated in this college.you can see many changes here now

Big area biggest college in Bettiah but yes as usual same story...old buildings with no renovation no painting dull walls. College like MJK must be given full attention so it's infrastructure can be revamped and expand with more glory. MJK has big land and full of seats each year and despite that negligence of the government can be seen once you visit and see the buildings and their dullness. Bihar is a state where such revolution needed in education sector to boost existing educational institution with more new infrastructure and latest laboratories and digital library. Still MJK is a finest choice for youngsters because it has a name value and better teaching compare to colleges around.

One of the best college in bettiah. Also available of INGOU facility.

Best college but tha political is very bad and the some teacher is very unprofessional

One of the oldest college, now a branch of BRABU muzaffarpur, the playground used by hundreds of youths and adolescents in the evening and older people in the morning. Central bettiah

Well known college for 12th board&graduation, Controlled by BRABU. It also have IGNOU department in its compound... Ofent it's playground is more famous because of the children's community..

Beautifully Designed and Well maintained. Maharani Janki Kunwar College, established in 1955 as a government, co-educational institution, is a key academic center in Bettiah, with an overall rating often exceeding 4 out of 5 stars. It offers a diverse range of 28 courses across Arts, Science, IT, and Management, including popular degrees like BA, BSc, BBA, and MA. The college's **infrastructure** is generally praised, featuring a very large sports ground/stadium, a central library with e-resources and NPTEL facilities, a computer center, and medical facilities. Classrooms are described as big and clean, although some students noted that certain departmental labs and classrooms are small and outdated. The campus also has a canteen and a hostel, providing essential student amenities. The **faculty** are widely reported as highly qualified, knowledgeable, and very supportive, actively helping students in their studies. Regarding **placements**, reviews are mixed and appear course-dependent. While some students report a high placement rate (up to 92%) with recruiters like Infosys and HCL, students in other science streams, such as B.Sc. Zoology, reported no placement opportunities for their specific course. Overall, the college is considered a strong **Value for Money** option due to its relatively low fee structure, making quality education affordable, particularly for students from middle and poor families. It stands as a reputable and well-resourced institution for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
